Chat with Our Application EngineerStage V / Tier 4 Final engines with intelligent speed management reduce fuel consumption by up to 15% versus previous-generation equipment — verified under ISO 8178 test cycle.
Amplitude and frequency optimization algorithms in our intelligent compaction systems reduce required passes by 20–30%, cutting project duration and machine wear.
48-hour spare parts logistics to 62 countries. Drum bearings, scraper bars, water spray nozzles, and major wear items stocked in regional hubs to minimize downtime.
All Bomag road construction equipment ships with a 12-month / 2,000-hour warranty. Extended 36-month coverage available for fleet contracts of 5+ units.
High-speed road construction demanding precise grade control and high-density compaction. Our double drum rollers and pavers are optimized for long-haul, large-crew operations.
Flat surface tolerances under 3 mm / 3 m for ILS-compliant pavements. Pneumatic tire rollers and paver-mounted grade sensors deliver the precision airport projects demand.
Gravel and crushed-aggregate haul roads require deep-lift compaction and frequent maintenance. Motor graders and heavy single drum rollers keep truck haulage productive.
Compact equipment for confined city streets and utility trenches. Walk-behind plate compactors, tandem rollers under 3 t, and low-noise operation for residential zones.
Vibratory rollers use eccentric mass rotation to generate compaction force (typically 80–130 kN) — best for granular materials and the initial passes on asphalt. Pneumatic tire rollers use kneading action through multiple tyres, delivering superior density uniformity and surface sealing for the final compaction pass on hot-mix asphalt. Most highway projects use both: vibratory for intermediate passes, pneumatic for finishing.
Typically 4–6 passes for a 50–80 mm hot-mix asphalt overlay using a 10 t double drum vibratory roller at the correct amplitude and working temperature (≥140°C at laydown). Our application engineers can model pass count for your specific mix design and lift thickness — reducing passes by even one can save 15–20% in roller hire costs on large contracts.
Yes. All Bomag road rollers and pavers above 18.5 kW meet EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V (Regulation 2016/1628). Certification documents are provided with each machine and available for download in our technical documentation portal. CE marking under Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC is standard on all models.
Standard production lead time is 8–12 weeks from order confirmation and deposit receipt. Expedited delivery (6–8 weeks) is available for select models from our pre-production stock program — please confirm at time of inquiry. Port of loading is typically Tianjin or Guangzhou; we arrange ocean freight, export documentation, and CIF/FOB as required.
Our application engineers have matched equipment to hundreds of road construction projects. Give us your jobsite details — soil type, layer thickness, asphalt mix, compaction target — and we'll recommend the right machine configuration and pass count estimate.
