Genuine BOMAG parts vs. aftermarket: which one's worth it?

One confession: I ran a fleet for two years without a pressure test kit, borrowing one from a shop down the road. It cost me more in delays and favors than the kit would have. Why does my BOMAG machine lose power or overheat in hot weather?

When should I repair vs. trade in my BOMAG equipment?
